Use this guide to quickly setup and configure your CasaTunes Dante^® music server by following these steps:

• Unpack and verify your system contents
• Connect the music server power and network cable
• Use Audinate’s Dante^® Controller installed on your music server, or on another machine on the same network segment, to route your CasaTunes streams to your Dante^® devices
• Use the CasaTunesX App to configure your system
• Use Microsoft Remote Desktop to access and change the computer settings on your music server

You can run Audinate’s Dante^® Controller software either from your computer (recommended) or the music server

• To run Dante^® Controller on your music server, you will need to install or use a remote access tool:
  
  When using a MAC: Install Microsoft Remote Desktop
  ‍When using Windows: Use Remote Desktop Connection
  ‍
• Connect to your CasaTunes Dante^® Music Server, using the following default computer name and credentials:
  
  Computer name: CasaServer
  Username: CasaUser
  Password: <none>
  ‍
• Double click the Dante^® Controller icon on the desktop

The music server, named CasaServer, should now be listed as a Dante^® Device in Dante Controller. The music server includes up to 16 transmitter channels.

The 4-8 CasaServer stereo streams are mapped on to the 8-16 transmitter channels.

Each CasaServer stereo stream consists of 2 channels (left and right). Stream 1 maps to Channels 1 & 2, Stream 2 maps to channels 3 & 4, etc.

Route the CasaServer channel pairs to the desired Dante^® device channel pairs

The CasaTunes music server should be configured as needed, however, should you need to change the music server settings, use the CasaTunesX App

• The CasaTunes music server is pre-configured out-of-the-box in Streamer Mode, providing 4-8 stereo Dante streams (Stream 1-4/5/6/7/8).
• The CasaTunesX App is available for free from the Amazon, Apple and Google app stores.
• Or, you can use the browser version of the CasaTunesX App, as follows:

  On a MAC: http://casaserver.local/casatunesx
  On Windows: http://casaserver/casatunesx

• To configure your music server settings, select MENU > Settings > System Setup

You can use RDP to remotely access your music server to change the music server name, security settings, etc.

• Install or use an RDP compatible remote access tool on your computer:

  When using a MAC: Install Microsoft Remote Desktop
  ‍When using Windows: Use Remote Desktop Connection
  ‍
• Connect to your CasaTunes Dante^® Music Server, using the following default computer name and credentials:
  
  Computer name: CasaServer
  Username: CasaUser
  Password: <none>
  ‍

• Download the CasaTunesX App from the various App Store or use the built-in browser version of the CasaTunesX App
• In the CasaTunesX App, go to MENU > Settings > Music Services to add one or more music service accounts.

• Once you have added your music services, use the CasaTunesX App to browse, search and select the music to play on each stream.
