Follow these steps to authorize (or authenticate) your Spotify accounts for use with CasaTunes
Steps to manage your Spotify accounts
Open the CasaTunes administration tool called CasaSetup. To open CasaSetup and configure your Spotify accounts:
- PC: http://casaserver/casasetup
- Mac: http://casaserver.local/casasetup
- Other: http://<xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx>/casasetup, where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the IP Address of your CasaTunes music server
- Select Music Services
- Select Spotify Browser in the left hand view
- For each Spotify Account you need to (re-)authorize select the Authorize button
- This will launch a new web page that will walk you through the Spotify Authorization process
- In the Spotify authorization screen select AGREE to allow CasaTunes access to your Spotify account
If you are logged into a Spotify account, make sure the account you are logged in to is the Spotify account you are authorizing (see below). If the logged in account is not correct, then click on (Not you?) and sign in to the correct Spotify account.
Adding a Spotify Browser account
- Select Add Spotify Browser Account
- Enter the Display Name for this account. This is the name displayed in the CasaTunes Apps
- Click on Authorize to authorize CasaTunes access to this Spotify Account. This will launch a new web page that will walk you through the Spotify Authorization process
- Enter the 2 character ISO country code where your Spotify account is registered, for example, US
To remove a Spotify Browser account
- Click on the X button in the Spotify Browser Account header to remove the Spotify Browser account from CasaTunes
