How to setup Spotify Connect using CasaSetup
Spotify Connect is enabled on your CasaTunes Music Server by default. If you disabled Spotify Connect, you can re-enable it using CasaSetup as follows (please refer to the figure below):
- Open CasaSetup
- Step 1: Select Music Services
- Step 2: Check the Spotify checkbox o enable Spotify Connect
- Step 3: Click on Save
To disable Spotify Connect using CasaSetup:
- Open CasaSetup
- Step 1: Select Music Services
- Step 2: Uncheck the Spotify checkbox to disable Spotify Connect
- Step 3: Click on Save
How to setup Spotify Connect using the CasaTunes Apps
Spotify Connect is enabled on your CasaTunes Music Server by default. If you disabled Spotify Connect, you can re-enable it using the CasaTunes Android or iOS App as follows:
- In the CasaTunes Android or iOS App, open the CasaTunes menu (press the tray icon)
- Select Settings
- Select Music Services
- Select + Add music account
- Select Spotify from the list of available music services
- Press Done
To disable Spotify Connect:
- In the CasaTunes Android or iOS App, open the CasaTunes menu (press the tray icon)
- Select Settings
- Select Music Services
- Select Edit
- Delete Spotify from the list of installed music services
- Press Done
How to use Spotify Connect
Listen out loud with Spotify Connect
- Connect your CasaTunes Music Server to your wifi network
- Open up the Spotify app on your phone, tablet or laptop using the same wifi network
- Play a song and select Devices Available
- Select your CasaTunes Music Server and start listening
